Soon after purchasing the vehicle in 1986 the owner embarked on a full body off restoration down to the last nut and bolt and since that time with very low mileage and only very occasional and careful use the car has always been maintained by MG specialists regardless of the expense. Considering its age of 48 years it is something of a time capsule and is in very many ways as good is it was when new.  Some years back it was fitted with 123 electronic ignition which is the only deviation from standard specification from when it left the factory.  Since 1986 the car has always been kept in dry storage and virtually never been subjected to rain or extreme weather anywhere so remains in excellent condition in every aspect.  This a fabulous example of the model and has a good history of very careful use so would be a great addition to any collection of cars of that era and yet remains a very drivable car that can hold its own in the road conditions of today.

A very genuine original RHD B V8 and one of only 2591 original cars made by MG. Many were exported and of course a high number have been scrapped or otherwise lost so this is now in fact one of the most rare standard production high performance cars of the marque. And with the superb Rover V8 engine can hold its own with some comfort with the cars of today.

In the present private ownership since 1986 the car has always been maintained regardless of budget to maintain its excellent condition. Finished in black paintwork and chrome bumpers with full black leather interior this vehicle is as good as you would find anywhere and truly a wonderful example of these great and fast appreciating classics.
